Member Programs

The Alternative Art School is a Membership-based, global, artist-led school founded to expand access to critical art education. Artists across 25+ countries participate in workshops, lectures, critique groups, and resource sharing that strengthen practice through dialogue and exchange. Off-Times Newspaper

Treat publishing as a creative practice, not documentation. Contribute to TAAS's internationally distributed artist newspaper.

The Exhibition to Come

Create a curatorial dossier: a living portfolio and complete conceptual framework the group can use to pitch, host, or activate real exhibitions at museums or independent galleries.

Making Your Art Own World

Stop trying to enter the art world. Learn how to build one. Build on the relationships, language, and circulation that let your work matter.
